ThyssenKrupp confirm to sell Tailored Blanks to Wisco

Reportedly, the global steel and technology giant ThyssenKrupp has confirmed the transaction with Chinese fourth largest steelmaker Wuhan Iron and Steel on its Tailored Blanks unit.

The steel unit in question produces tailored steel blanks for automobile industry. And now this cause is subject to approval by supervisory bodies and regulatory authorities.

ThyssenKrupp announced its divestment strategy in May, and as early as in April, the company's official said Tailored Blanks was expected to fetch less than €500 million.
